Note from John Clifton, on his recent circumstances: The inevitability of medical incidents among the over 60 crowd at last hit me on September 30, when I entered the hospital based on being stricken by pneumonia, and a minor stroke. I provided Dr. Phil a few update messages, but the experience otherwise limited my internet time and availability. I was transferred to a VA facility in St Albans for short term rehab this week, and feel much better now.I have suggested I am ‘on pause’ from most active LP tasks, until I am more fully recovered and discharged (expected in December or January). I am able to update the announcements, or handle other miscellaneous social media engagement until then. I suggest the November meeting will be on 2024 LPNY ballot issues, with meeting topics in December and January to be decided shortly. Hang in there, all, QL will be continuing to roll!
